Application for KOHAS/IFANCA Halal Certification
In the case of "manufacturing plant", all the procedures of KOHAS halal certification and IFANCA halal certification are integrated into one. However, UAE (ESMA) Halal certification for manufacturing plants and Service Industry Sharia Qualification for domestic service industries are conducted in a separate process. |

Application Procedure
1. Inquiry

2. Receipt of application
- Fill out the application form emailed to you and attach the required documents listed below.

- KOHAS desk will proceed with the follow-up step after the overall screening of the documents received.

3. Inspection Agreement
- The Inspection Agreement is an agreement concluded with equal status between KOHAS and the applicant.
- This Agreement will be governed the rights and duties of both parties including license of KOHAS certification mark, certification expiration date, compliance with mandatory requirements and etc.
4. Payment of Certification Fee
- Certification fees are calculated and charged on a plant basis.
- The fee is calculated at the most reasonable amount considering the type of application, size, number of products (menu) and workload and etc.
- Such fees may vary for each applicant, and special discounted rates apply for SME applicant.
